The Too Faced Sweet Peach collection is one of the most hyped up collections in recent memory. Despite the hype, I wasn't really feeling the collection, but then I saw the Peach Oil Lip Glosses and my curiosity was piqued enough to buy one. Initially, I thought these were going to be something along the lines of a YSL lip oil, sheer with a hint of color and an oily feel. Wrong-o. These are majorly pigmented lip glosses with a plush, non-sticky feel. Short answer: I love these. However, as with pretty much any product ever, not everyone is going to love the same things. Will these be a must-have for you? Read on and I'll help you decide!
Disclosure: This product was purchased by me with my own money. This post does not contain affiliate links.
Price:
$19 for 4mlWhere to buy:
Sephora | Ulta | TooFacedPackaging:
Clear plastic tube with a long, flexible doe-foot applicator. There's a stopper inside the tube that helps to pull off some of the excess product, preventing it from getting too messy.
Texture:
Smooth, plush, hydrating, non-sticky. I could press my lips together without feeling like my lips were sticking together. It's a thicker gloss, but it doesn't feel heavy on the lips. It's a very comfortable, hydrating formula.
Application:
Goes on smoothly, but it can be a little uneven, which you can see in the swatch below. Pigmented with one coat, but can be built up for even more vibrancy. Semi-sheer.
Scent:
Smells like peach candy. Sweet, but with a little bit of tarteness. Although it doesn't smell like an actual fresh peach, it doesn't smell overly synthetic or sickly sweet either. I absolutely love the smell, but I'm sure it's not something everyone would love. I could still smell this a little bit while I was wearing it, but it wasn't overpowering or so strong that it was irritating. If you were wondering, it does taste sweet, but not quite like a peach candy, just vaguely candy-like. ...yes I tasted it...for science😉😋
Wear Time:
Average for a lip gloss, around 2-3 hours before it needs to be reapplied, depending on how much you eat and drink. It faded evenly, no gross ring left around the lips.

Final Thoughts:
I love this, but I don't think it's for everyone. For one thing, not everyone is going to love the scent. Additionally, the darker color can settle into fine lines a little bit or look a little uneven if you're not careful with the way you apply it. The darker color will also draw some attention to any flakes of dry skin on your lips. If that's a problem for you, you may want to go with one of the lighter shades, but from what I've seen from other bloggers, some of the lighter shades tend to settle into lip lines too. It has something to do with the way the color is suspended in the gloss, I think, but I'm not a cosmetic chemist, so that's just a theory. Sheering it out by gently patting it with your fingertip is also an option to achieve a more subdued color and prevent it from settling into lip lines. Overall, I love this and plan to buy more shades. I think you'll like it if you're into the peach scent, and if you're looking for a pigmented, hydrating, non-sticky gloss. If you thought even the NYX Butter Glosses were sticky, this may finally be the non-sticky gloss you've been waiting for. Avoid this if you think the scent may bother you, or if you're concerned about it sinking into lip lines (or consider going with a lighter shade).
Are you loving the Too Faced Sweet Peach collection? I'll admit, these glosses have me reconsidering some of the other products in the collection!
